What the bill says it does
The purposes of this Act are— (a) to revoke an amendment to the Victoria Planning Provisions that prohibits new gas connections for new dwellings, apartments and residential subdivisions; and (b) to consequentially amend the Building Act 1993 to repeal regulation-making powers for prohibiting the connection of reticulated gas, extending the capacity of an existing reticulated gas connection and the installation or replacement of reticulated gas appliances.
