What the bill says it does

The main purposes of this Act are— (a) to amend the Fair Work (Commonwealth Powers) Act 2009— (i) to provide for certain public sector employees to enter into enterprise bargaining agreements about matters pertaining to the number, identity or appointment (other than terms and conditions of appointment) of those employees; and (ii) to make further provision in relation to the scope of the exceptions to the matters referred to the Parliament of the Commonwealth; and (iii) to make further provision about matters relating to law enforcement officers; and (iv) to provide for some other aspects of the provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009 of the Commonwealth to apply to those matters; and (b) to make necessary related and consequential amendments to the Victoria Police Act 2013; and (c) to make other minor technical amendments to those Acts.
